· Carnival of nonprofit consultants ·
As mentioned last week, Solidariti is hosting the carnival of nonprofit consultants this week. Below is my pick of the top submissions received from last week:
- Here's your point of connection -- sell the issue, then your organization ... from Nancy Schwartz's Getting Attention blog
- 15 places to find article ideas for your nonprofit newsletter ... from Kivi Miller's Nonprofit Communications blog
- Asking for money online: what works? ... from Katya Andresen's Non-profit Marketing blog
- Don't use no bad English ... from Jeff Brooks's Donor Power blog
- Local Toyota Service Centers and Weber State Automotive Training Programs ... from Paul Jones's Cause-Related Marketing blog
I think the Carnival usually features posts from a pool of submissions, plus the host. Can I break the rules? I'm going to anyway (nothing new from me there, then). I think this one deserves a mention:
- Colin Delany has posted an article on his e.politics blog: "Examining the Complexities of Activism in Second Life", which points to Josh Levy's Social change in Second Life ... "a machinima documentary about how real-world activists are using the virtual world Second Life as a platform for social and political activism".
Keep track of the Carnival of Nonprofit Consultants, no matter which blog is hosting, by subscribing to the Carnival feed.
