· Facebook fatigue ·
Along with everybody else over the age of about 30, I now have Facebook fatigue. In fact, if I didn't use Facebook to do my job, I'd be dumping it for something else (probably Plaxo Pulse at this point in time ... much more civilised ... I'm just waiting for you mob to join it with me!). EVEN LAUREL PAPWORTH, the Queen of online social media, reputedly has Facebook fatigue ... now how about that :)
So what do those of us who were contemplating the merits of launching a Facebook widget do, now? Well I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to wait and watch :)
While we're all waiting, read Beth Kanter's post on the trough of disillusionment of Facebook. I think she's right, many of us will bounce back on it again, probably after we've given it a break over the xmas holidays, but we won't be as addicted as we were six months ago.
