· Social change, Facebook, online volunteers et al ·
Sorry for the recent silence. I don't have much headspace for blogging at the moment so you might not hear from me much over the next two or three weeks. Some of you will already know that I'm about to head to Sydney (from Melbourne) for a few months (but I promise to not go all Sydney-centric on youse! :) )
Anyway, here's some links to some interesting stuff that I've found over the past few days ...
- Social change websites ... a directory of social change websites that use technology in an innovative way - you might also want to submit your own site for consideration (US organisations only)
- Activism with your friends ... why Facebook rocks for online advocacy
- Our Community's new advocacy centre ... if you have suggestions for links on the advocacy tools page, email KathyR [at] ourcommunity [dot] com [dot] au
- Face to face in cyberspace from The Australian ... MySpace and Facebook, who's using them and how
- Myths about online volunteering from Techsoup ... some points you might want to take into consideration when looking for volunteers to support your online communications

Completely understandable but hopefully recent events will get you blogging again sooner rather than later :)
