· new Amnesty International website ·
Did anybody else notice that Amnesty International gave their website a facelift this week? (Yeh, ok, Mark and Deb you don't count.) It's kinda yellow :)
But apart from having to turn down the brightness of my screen to look at it, I think it's a lot more engaging than many other multinational NGO websites, so congrats to the Amnesty team.
By the way, there is a separate Amnesty Australia website :)

ouch no! don’t like it – far too much going on. A little bit of high contrast can be a good thing to get something noticed – that whole page is fighting for attention. Much prefer the quiet, purposeful approach of the Australian site design.

Yeh – we spotted it. One of the folks at d.eskimo worked out somehow that it was Drupal or CivicSpace (which is Drupal-based).
The Amnesty AU site is built on Squiz Matrix if memory serves, but I think they’re planning to switch…
p.s. the captcha on your comments form is waaaay to hard to decipher…
